I guess I never explicitly explained this here – the Alabama legislature took a two-week break to hold hearings on redistricting. This is a big requirement they have to accomplish after the census last year. During the break, no bills were able to move, including our SB192.

They came back this week. We hope SB192 has a spot on the calendar soon – hopefully next week – and will let everyone know when that happens.

What is the last no pocket veto day?

Day 30. This week they did days 24,25,26. Next week they will do days 27,28,29. Then they wait a full week and do Day 30. The legislative schedule in the last couple weeks is designed to take away the Governor’s pocket veto power as much as possible.

So that means Day 29 is the last pocket veto day, which is what you actually asked…
