I am so happy for the FTH group and all the years of work they put into this. It shows that things can be changed on a grass roots level. This is a victory for Alabama. Thank you Riley for not letting us down! And yes, as earlier posts mentioned, I hope FTH works next on the container size. Although MANY beers can now be sold in Bama, the 22 oz ones like Abita Andygator and Abbey Ale cannot yet. And they should work to change some of the antiquated brewery laws---Louisiana has several breweries and even Mississippi has Lazy Magnolia. I know we have several in Birmingham (I'm from Mobile and we only have Hurricane Brewing Co here), but aren't they restricted when it comes to bottling and selling the beer? And isn't there something restricting locations? Alabama breweries could bring in so much money if they were less restricted! Anyhow, CONGRATULATIONS AND GO DRINK A COLD ONE!! This is wonderful.
